The Circulatory System
Main Role of this System
The main role of the Circulatory System is transport blood throughout the body. The blood is used to carry other stuff to muscles. For example, it carries food and oxygen to the muscles.
How the Circulatory System works with other body systems
The Circulatory system works with the Muscular System because it brings the muscles the stuff that it needs. It also works with the Respiratory System and the Digestive System. It works with the Digestive System because the Digestive System allows you to eat food. When you eat food, the Digestive System (as the name suggests) digests the food and allows it to be small enough to fit in your blood stream. It works with the Respiratory System because the Respiratory System allows you to breath in Oxygen. The oxygen goes into your lungs and then into tiny air sacks. The blood vessels run throught these air sacks and they collect the air that enters them. They then transport the oxygen to other the different Musles of your body. Another system the Circulatory System works with is the Exretory System. It works with the Excretory System because the Blood Vessels go throught the kidneys and remove the waste. And then the waste liquids exit the body through
What makes up the Circulatory System
The Circulatory is made up of 2 different parts. These parts are the Blood Vessels and the Heart. The Blood Vessels are divided into to groups also. These groups are the Veins and the Arteries.
Veins and Arteries
The Arteries (Red) are the Blood Vessels that take oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and other parts of the body.
